HOW IT STARTED

The Wooden Heart story started in February of 2018 when we (Ryan + Yvette Clark) purchased our 1964 Kenskill camp trailer. The very day we found it (it was Valentine's Day!) - Ryan started demolition to convert it to a fully operable mobile, wood fired kitchen. It took a few years to completely renovate the cart due to working full time, the birth of our first child, Jude - oh, and that whole pandemic thing - but we finally we were able to launch in March of 2021. Our first few months in business have been an incredible whirlwind where we've come to understand that the Willamette Valley is such a supportive community. Chef Ryan Clark has a love for all things local and we hope that translates when you enjoy his food.
